We recommend that you incorporate the context setting information, discussion suggestions and reinforcement activities in your PowerPoint presentation and participant materials. You might also want to insert a hyperlink to the movie clips URL in your presentation.
Application:
Any training or coaching intervention that incorporates references to behavioral styles, especially those using concepts based on the four quadrant model of behavior of individuals.
- Leadership and Supervisory Management training/coaching

- Deeper understanding of behavioral styles

Context setting:

Leadership - Context Setting
There can be nothing more satisfying than overcoming a challenge, winning a huge contract or landing a dream job. In the case of this team, they present a strategy that they believe can have real benefit to everyone. Acknowledge your own successes and the successes of others.
As you watch the episode, consider the summaries of what each character has learned. Ask yourself how this new knowledge will help each character.
Watching the Movie Clip Again
Application:
Repeat viewing of the movie clip is often used:
- During the actual intervention to support discussion, participant self discovery of key principles and as reinforcement.
- After the actual event to facilitate participants’ review and sharing with others and as reinforcement.
Context setting for participants:

As you watch the movie clip again, ask yourself:
- How will each character's summary of what they have learned help them in the future, both in general and when leading others?
- Which character, if any, is leading in this episode? What does your answer say about the group's success in building a team?
- Explain in terms of each character's preferred style, what he or she gets from cooperating with the other members of the group to deliver the presentation.

You will be surprised at the breakthrough moments that you will experience that will have positive impact on how you relate to those individuals in the future.
Print this list of issues to be used for participant reinforcement after this session:
